We understand that travel plans may change due to unforeseen circumstances. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling requests.
1. Cancellation by Customer
If you need to cancel your booking, the following terms apply:
  • Cancellation 15 Days or More Before the Scheduled Departure: A full refund will be provided, minus a 5% administrative fee.
  • Cancellation Between 7 and 14 Days Before the Scheduled Departure: 50% of the total booking amount will be refunded.
  • Cancellation Less Than 7 Days Before the Scheduled Departure: No refund will be provided.
  • No-Show on the Day of Departure: No refund will be issued if you do not show up for your scheduled flight without prior notice.
2. Cancellation by Chardham Heli Service
In the event that Chardham Heli Service has to cancel a scheduled flight due to factors beyond our control, such as:
  • Bad Weather: Adverse weather conditions that may pose a risk to flight safety.
  • Technical Issues: Mechanical or technical problems that cannot be resolved in time.
  • Government or Regulatory Restrictions: If any government or aviation authority imposes restrictions that prevent us from operating.
In such cases, customers will be offered the following options:
  • Full Refund: A full refund of the booking amount will be processed within [7-10] business days.
  • Rescheduling: You can choose to reschedule your flight for another available date, subject to seat availability and operational feasibility.
3. Rescheduling Policy
  • Rescheduling Requests by Customers: If you wish to reschedule your flight, you must submit a request at least 7 days prior to your scheduled departure. Rescheduling is subject to seat availability and operational constraints.
  • Rescheduling Fee: A rescheduling fee of [₹X] may apply. However, if the change is due to unforeseen circumstances like illness or emergencies, the fee may be waived at the company’s discretion (supporting documents may be required).
4. Refund Process
  • Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used during booking.

  • In case of payments made via third-party platforms (e.g., travel agents, online booking portals), the refund will be subject to the policies of those platforms, and Chardham Heli Service will not be responsible for delays caused by third parties.
5. Partial Refunds

Partial Journey Completion: If a flight is partially completed due to unforeseen circumstances (such as weather conditions or technical issues), a pro-rata refund will be issued for the uncompleted portion of the journey.

6. Non-Refundable Charges
The following charges are non-refundable:
  • Processing Fees: Any administrative or processing fees paid during booking.
  • GST or Other Taxes: Government levies, taxes, or fees applicable on the transaction may not be refundable.
  • Third-Party Fees: If you booked via a third party (travel agents, online platforms), any commission or service fees charged by them are not refundable by Chardham Heli Service.
7. Refund Exclusions
Refunds will not be provided under the following circumstances:
  • Late Arrival: If you arrive late and miss your scheduled flight without prior notice.
  • Failure to Provide Required Documents: If you fail to provide necessary identification, permits, or health certifications required for the journey.
  • Force Majeure: No refund will be issued for cancellations or delays caused by events beyond the control of Chardham Heli Service, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, political instability, or government orders.
8. Special Cases
  • Medical Emergencies: In cases of medical emergencies or hospitalization, customers can submit a refund request with supporting medical documents. Refunds in such cases will be at the discretion of Chardham Heli Service.
  • Government Mandates: If government-imposed restrictions prevent you from traveling, we may offer a refund or rescheduling based on the circumstances.
