Morning meets our driver at Dehradun Airport/Railway station or your pickup point and then we will drive towards Harsil via Uttarkashi. Harsil is known for its apple production, which, according to local stories, was brought to the area by Frederick E. Wilson, a British settler. On reach check in into the hotel, after refreshed have dinner & overnight stay at Harsil.
Today morning after breakfast, driver will pick you up from Harsil and then we will proceed to visit to Gartang Valley & Nelong Valley. Later back to hotel, after refreshed have dinner & overnight stay at Harsil. Nelong Valley: Nelong Valley lies 45km away from the Indo-Tibetan border. It is considered to be one of the most thrilling mountaineering treks in India. At a height of 11,000ft, the view from here is breathtaking. The valley offers a clear and surreal view of the Tibetan Plateau. Gartang Valley: Located in the picturesque Nelong Valley near the Indo-China border, the 150-year-old Gartang Gali is a 136-m-long wood-lined stairway that is said to have been built by Peshawari Pathans, who created an architectural masterpiece by cutting the granite of a vertical rock face.
Morning after breakfast, and then we will proceed to visit Mukhba Temple and then Dharali Village. Later back to hotel after refreshed have dinner & overnight stay at Harsil. Mukhba: Mukhba is a small village near Gangotri Temple in Harsil, Uttarakhand, India. The idol of Goddess Ganga is kept here during winters, after which it is brought down in a ritual ceremony from the temple, about nine miles away, as it becomes inaccessible after snowfall. Dharali: Located at a distance of 2 km from Harsil. Dharali is famous for its apple orchards and red bean cultivation. There is an idol of Lord Shiva in an ancient temple in this village. Ancient stories believe that Bhagiratha performed penance at this very place to make Ganga flow from heaven to earth.
Today morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and then we will drive towards Dehradun for drop with sweet memories.
