Badrinath: The Badrinath shrine is believed to be as old as time itself, dedicated to lord Vishnu. This temple was re-established by Adi Shankaracharya in the 8th century as part of his mission to revitalise hinduism. Located on the banks of the Rishi Ganga (Alaknanda), the temple and the numerous ancient sites around it, is indeed a worthy goal to aim for. The last 11Km to Badrinath is a steep ascent. At Devdarshani, the vista of the entire Badrinath valley appears before you – the township, the magnificent facade of the temple and the twin peaks Nar and Narayan as if standing guard on its either side, and the Neelkanth shining like a crown on its head and immediately you feel the spiritual upliftment that such a magnificent site inspires.
Itinirary Highlights
Arrival at Delhi and then meets our driver at Delhi Airport/Your pickup point & then drive towards Haridwar. On reach Haridwar, check in into hotel take dinner and overnight stay at Haridwar.
Morning after breakfast, check out from hotel then we will proceed towards Joshimath via Chamoli. On reach Joshimath check in into hotel, after refreshed have dinner & overnight stay at Joshimath.
Morning, leave for Shri Badrinath Ji Temple. On route visit Narsingh Temple, and Adi Shankaracharya Math at Joshimath, and Vishnuprayag Sangam. Later drive to Badrinath, on arrival performs Pooja, Darshan and spend time visiting around the temple. After that, drive back to Joshimath, after refreshed have dinner & overnight stay at Joshimath. Badrinath: - is one of the 'Ancient Four Dham’s' is one of the most celebrated pilgrimage spots of the country and is situated at an elevation of 3,133 meters, guarded on either side by the two mountain ranges known as Nar & Narayan with the towering Neelkanth Peak providing a splendid backdrop. This revered spot was once carpeted with wild berries. Thus, the place got the name "Badri van", meaning "forest of berries".
Today morning after breakfast, check out from hotel then we will drive towards Haridwar via Rudraprayag, on route visit Nandaprayag Sangam, Karnaprayag Sangam, Rudraprayag Sangam and Devprayag Sangam. Later drive towards Haridwar, on reach check in into hotel after refreshed have dinner & overnight stay in Haridwar.
This is last day of your tour. Today morning after breakfast, check out from hotel then we will drive towards Delhi for drops with sweet memories.
